There’s a political war being waged by the far-right, claiming that LGBTQ+ Americans are ‘groomers’ and pedophiles. Their rally cry? “Protect our children.” GLAAD reached out to Ogilvy for help, so we came up with the idea to transform this hateful rhetoric into a wave of LGBTQ+ positivity on social media. Because yes, kids should be protected – from hate, violence, bullying and fear. ‘Protect this kid’ garnered over 10 million organic impressions and was short-listed at Cannes Lions 2024 in the Creator & Influencer Marketing category.
